<p>The connecting piece is for connection of an expansion vessel in a conduit system, such as that for supply of drinking water. The connecting piece comprises a housing (1) with a first connecting aperture (2) for an expansion vessel, a second connecting aperture (3) for a conduit system and a connecting channel (4) between the first and second connecting aperture. In the connecting channel, a ball closure (5) is fitted with a first through channel (6) and a second separate through channel (7a,7b). The ball closure is rotatably supported by two seats fitted in the housing, a first seat (8) on the side of the first connecting aperture and a second seat (9) on the side of the second connecting aperture. The seats, together with the ball closure, are held in position in the housing by being enclosed bewteen a brush (13) in the housing and a screw ring (14) installed in the housing.</p> |
