<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encryption/decoding module with tolerance for a side channel attack particularly for DPA (Differential Power Analysis) attack. <P>SOLUTION: The encryption/decoding module 1 is provided with an encryption/decoding processing circuit 11 which obtains and utilizes a 1st random number not to reveal secret information generated during operation to the outside, a random number generator 12 which generates a 2nd random number that is a source of the 1st random number, a parameter supplying part 14 which supplies a parameter for the conversion of the 2nd random number to the 1st random number, and a random number controller 13 which converts the 2nd random number inputted from the random number generator 12 to the 1st random number based on the parameter, and supplies the converted 1st random number to the encryption/decoding circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
