PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cutting cost by obtaining an optional cutting depth by a wall sawing device which is miniaturized and small in output and has a blade of a small diameter. SOLUTION: In a method for cutting a structure, a cutting part of the structure 15 is cut in a prescribed depth by advancing the blade 2 to the structure 15 while it is rotated. An escape hole 16 into which the rotary shaft 4 of the blade 2 can be inserted and which turns to the forward/backward moving direction of the blade 2 is formed in the cutting part of the structure 15. When the blade 2 is advanced while being rotated, when the rotary shaft 4 of the blade 2 reaches the structure 15, the rotary shaft 4 is inserted into the escape hole 16 and moved in the escape hole 16 to follow the blade 2 to allow the advance of the blade 2. Since a cutting depth of at least the radius of the blade 2 is obtained, even by the miniaturized wall sawing device having the small diameter blade and the small output, the optional cutting depth is obtained, and the cutting cost can be largely reduced.
