PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sequential pressing device capable of suppressing a space in the vertical direction. SOLUTION: A plurality of pairs of forming dies 15 are continuously arranged in series to a lateral press frame 10 so that the die clamping direction and the die opening direction are horizontal or diagonal close to horizontal. Each forming die 15 is guided to the press frame 10 by a lateral pressing device 11 together with an adjacent forming die 15 to perform the die clamping and die opening operations.
