Disclosed herein is an acceleration system for a link belt mounted ship. The acceleration system comprises a center buoyancy tank (10) and side buoyancy tanks (20) mounted at a body (100) of the ship, wheel shafts (30) transversely penetrating the ship body, water wheels (40) mounted to the wheel shafts, respectively, a link belt (50) surrounding the water wheels and formed with hook-shaped blades (51), a plurality of roller shafts (60) located between the center buoyancy tank and the link belt, and first upper rollers (70) and second lower rollers (80) rotatably mounted to the roller shafts. The acceleration system for the ship according to the present invention can simplify repair works thereof and enables required defective components to be individually exchanged thus facilitating its manufacture. Further, the link belt can be easily replaced by divers even in the water, and the water wheels do not need any lubrication and cooling processes since they are partially immersed under the water. |
