Textile sensor comprises electrically conducting threads joined to form a network, and electric contacts (7, 7') for measuring the changing electrical resistance with a pressure or pulling load as a consequence of elastic deformation of the network. Effective pressure and puling forces are measured from the measured electrical resistance.
