The invention refers to the plant-growing and may be applied for increasing the pea resistance to fusariose root rot. The method of increasing the pea resistance to root fusariose includes presowing treatment of seeds with 10-5...10-2% aqueous solution of steroid glycoside 3-O-{[?--L-rhamnopyranosyl(1«2)]-[(-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1«4)]-?-D-glycopyranoside}-[(25S)-5?-furostan-3?,22?,26-triol]-26-O-?-D -glucopyranoside. The result consists in increasing the seed germination level and in diminishing the pea roots affection with fusariose rot.
