<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foot joint driving device which is powered not by a motor or other driving sources but by healthy one of the legs of a patient, and capable of slightly dorsiflexing the foot joint of the patient's unhealthy leg. <P>SOLUTION: This device is designed to apply external force to the unhealthy leg 3 of a patient through a rocking slider crank mechanism, or the rotation of a crank 14 by the other healthy leg 12. There are provided two or more shaft holes 19 pivotally supporting the rocking shaft of the rocking slider crank mechanism, so that the rocking angle of the mechanism is changed by changing the rocking holes 19. This device is also provided with moving mechanisms 21, 22, and 23 which can freely move the position of the rocking shaft of the rocking slider crank mechanism. The rocking shaft moves on a perpendicular line from the shaft 15 of the crank 14 down to the floor.
