<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic toll collection system capable of keeping toll acceptance information, even when a serious failure is generated in a toll-accepting terminal device. <P>SOLUTION: The toll acceptance information, inputted by a first toll-accepting terminal device, is stored by the first toll accepting terminal device and is transmitted/stored to/at a second toll-accepting terminal device. Since the toll acceptance information, inputted by the first toll-accepting terminal device, is stored by both the first/the second toll-accepting terminal devices, the toll acceptance information can be saved, even if a failure is generated at the first toll-accepting terminal device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
