PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient heat exchanger for enhancing heat exchange efficiency between two fluids. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger is composed of an inner pipe 4 having a double wall 5 for bringing a first wall 5a and a second wall 5b into close contact with each other, and an outer pipe 6 having the inner pipe 4 inside, substantially coaxially with the inner pipe 4. The heat exchanger is constituted so that the fluid A flows inside the inner pipe 4, and the fluid B flows in an annular part between the inner pipe 4 and the outer pipe 6. Thus, high heat exchange efficiency can be provided by securing the sufficient contact area between a flow passage of the fluid A and a flow passage of the fluid B, with a very simple constitution having the double wall 5 for securing safety between the fluid A and the fluid B.
