PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide door structure of an automobile assuring high collisional safety when the automobile has made a lateral collision. SOLUTION: The slide door structure of the automobile is configured such that a guide groove 30 open to outside the automobile and formed internally with a guide rail for moving under guidance guide rollers of a slide door 2 is formed at the outside surface of a locker rail 3 constituting the bottom edge of the opening of a get-on hole 1 to be opened and closed by a slide door 2 and is covered with the bottom of the slide door 2 when the slide door is closed, wherein a hook bead 4 bulged out toward the guide groove and engaged with the top edge 33 of the opening of the guide groove 30 when the slide door 2 is pushed in toward the cabin owing to a lateral collision is formed at the bottom of a door inner panel 20a of the slide door 2, and thereby the slide door 2 is hindered from intrusion into the cabin.
