Compositions and methods of use that provide improved efficacy in fertilizing and controlling fungus and bacterial infections in plants. More particularly, the compositions and methods relate to heavy metal chelates, and preferably to a copper chelate in the form of Cu-EDDHA (copper ethylenediamine-di-o-hydroxyphenylacetic acid), including an amount of phosphate (P04) and phosphonate (P03), in aqueous solution.
