A head-up display system (1) has a flat and mainly transparent anti-Stokes and/or UV element (2) integrated in a windshield panel (3) or in a transparent flat display element. During radiation with NIR- and/or UV-rays (6), a visible information is generated for the human eye. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) A method for fabricating a head-up display.(B) Use of a head-up display system.
