Provided is a method for manufacturing a slow-release granular fertilizer containing germanium which gives beneficial effects on human body and prevents propagation of harmful insects in soil. The slow-release fertilizer granules giving slow-release property to perennial plants like ginseng comprise 35-40wt.% of isobutylidenediurea(IBDU), 50-60wt.% of metaphosphate, 10-15wt.% of phosphate rock, and 0.2-0.3wt.% of heavy oil additive. The fertilizer is manufactured by the following steps of: (i) mixing the above raw materials; (ii) adding 1000-1200ppm of borax, 40-50ppm of ammonium molybdenum and 80-100ppm of germanium to mixtures; (iii) adding 1-1.3wt.% of polyvinyl alcohol to mixtures of the step (iii); forming the mixtures into granules and drying. |
