<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spin coat method which can eliminate a heap formed adjacent to an outer peripheral end by means of a simple process when a UV-curing resin layer is formed, and also provide a manufacturing method for a disk-shaped recording medium which can eliminate the influence of the heap formed adjacent to the outer peripheral end of a resin layer such as an optical transmission layer or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The spin coat method spin coats the UV-curing resin 13 on the surface to be formed with resin of a disk-shaped substrate 11, radiates UV rays on the surface to be formed with resin, where the UV-curing resin is spin coated, except the part adjacent to the outer peripheral end 13b, applies a solvent to the proximity to the outer peripheral end of the surface to be formed with resin, and then removes the uncured part of the UV-curing resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
