<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electrolytic solution of high electric discharge capacity and of superior life cycle durability, and a lithium-sulfur battery containing it. <P>SOLUTION: In the electrolytic solution for the lithium sulfur battery, which contains a lithium salt and an organic solvent, and furthermore contains a compound of phosphine sulfide series of a chemical formula 1. Here, R<SB>1</SB>, R<SB>2</SB>, and R<SB>3</SB>in the chemical formula 1 express either of the same or different selected group of substituted or non-substituted alkyl groups with 1 or 30 carbon number, or substituted or non-substituted aryl groups with 6 or 30 carbon number, or substituted or non-substituted alkoxy groups with 1 or 30 carbon number, or substituted or non-substituted alkenyl groups with 8 or 30 carbon number, in which the hydrogen atom on aromatic ring can be substituted by an arbitrary one of substituted groups. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
