<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an executable means that is free from complicated processings, without increase in processing run time, even when rewriting a control program of a printer engine. <P>SOLUTION: Normally, a communication method between a video controller and engine is conducted by adding parity bits for processing errors.
