<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service to a plurality of subscriber apparatuses grouped by ONU units, in a FTTH system fusing broadcast and communication. <P>SOLUTION: This system is provided with an OLT100, an ONU600, and a SIU700 (-1 to n). The OLT100 receives a first predetermined number of broadcast signals and an Ethernet (R) signal, subjects the signals to photoelectric conversion, unites the converted signals into a fused optical signal, and transmits it by an optical wavelength division multiplexing system. The ONU600 separates the optical signal from the OLT into the predetermined number of broadcast signals and the Ethernet (R) signal, conducts photoelectric conversion on them, switches a second predetermined number of broadcast signals in the predetermined number of broadcast signals by each SIU, using a channel selection information included in the upward Ethernet (R) information, and conducts optical transmission of the Ethernet (R) signal toward a subscriber by switching each SIU. The SIU700 (-1 to n) conducts the photoelectric conversion of the optical signal from the ONU, transmits the second predetermined number of broadcast signals and the Ethernet (R) signal to the subscriber to corresponding external equipment, adds the channel selection information with respect to the broadcast signal to the upward Ethernet (R) information, to be transmitted to the ONU. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
