IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, AND ITS CONTROL METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device preventing drawbacks to a user of paying the copyright fee equivalent amount which the user has no intention of paying, due to wrong operation of the user.

SOLUTION: In the control method for the image processing device calculating the fee with respect to reading of a document by a reading means or an output of image data by an output means, on the basis of fee information corresponding to identification information precedently attached to the document, when there is no input of instruction within a predetermined time period from carrying out display of a fee, the reading of the document by the reading means, or the output of the image data by the output means is canceled.
