PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable terminal equipment which can be prevented from being left behind, without using auxiliary equipment different from the portable terminal equipment body. SOLUTION: This portable telephone equipment 10 is provided with a first casing body 11, a second casing body 12 and a hinge part 13 freely rotatably connecting the first casing body 11 to the second casing body 11, and configured so as to be freely openable/closeable to communicate through an antenna 1 by radio. This portable telephone equipment 10 is provided with a sensor 6a for sensing an object on the surface of the first casing body, and a sensor 6b for sensing the object on the surface of the second case body 12, while the first casing body 11 and the second casing body 12 are closed and a warning generating means for generating warning after communication is not executed, a key input part 3 is not operated, the object is sensed by either of the sensors 6a or 6b and is not sensed by the other sensor for a predetermined time or longer.
