PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an operation of a recording medium for a plurality of changers easy. SOLUTION: In a controller 20 for controlling disk changers 10a, 10b, 10c in which 400 disks can be stored respectively, a disk to be reproduced or ejected is selected. The disk changer 10a (main device) receives a reproduction or ejection instruction including the disk number of the selected disk from the controller 20. When the disk number is 401 to 800, the disk changer 10a converts the disk number to the rack number 1 to 400 of the disk changer 10b, and when the disk number is 801 to 1200, the device 10a converts the disk number to the rack number 1 to 400 of the disk changer 10c and transmits the numbers to each of the disk changers 10b, 10c.
