PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil separating type overflow structure in an apparatus for cleaning drain water, having a simple structure of stabilizing and normalizing the apparatus by smoothly overflowing the drain water by separating it into oil-contaminated water and oil when a large amount of the drain water is introduced temporarily into the apparatus for cleaning the drain water to clean the drain water discharged from a compressor, or the like, by subjecting the drain water to gas-liquid separation and oil-water separation. SOLUTION: The drain water drained from the compressor 29, and the like, is introduced into a first tank 13 and is usually kept to a level between a level position C and a level position B. When the level of the oil-contaminated water 3 rise due to introduction of the large quantity of the drain water, a part of the oil-contaminated water 3 after finishing oil/water separation in a first discharge part 1 overflows to an oil-contaminated water tank 6 side. When the level in the first tank 13 further rises to a higher level position A, the oil content stagnating in the top end side overflows to an oil tank 7 side through a second discharge part 2.
