PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus and its program that makes it possible for a user to know a remote place scene in real time without infringing the privacy of a person present at the remote place. SOLUTION: A terminal device 21x receives a sound of life collected through a microphone 11 in one's own home X as a sound signal and applies a process such as a filter process or the like to the received sound signal. The sound signal subjected to the process by the terminal device 21x contains no component of a 400Hz to 3.5KHz frequency range containing, e.g., a conversation voice. The sound signal processed by the terminal device 21x is outputted from a telephone set 13x to 13y to be converted into a sound at a speaker 16. A chief Y present at a company B cannot know the content of the conversation or the like of an employee A present a the home X of the employee through the sound pronounced from the speaker 16 but can know the scene of the home X to some extent.
