PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distributed amplifier with high gain and wide band which can be used as a driver amplifier, etc. of an LN modulator which is used as an optical intensity modulator of an optical communication apparatus. SOLUTION: The distributed amplifier is constituted by including an input side transmitting circuit 1 of which one end is considered as an input end of a signal and the other end is terminated by an input side termination circuit 2, an output side transmitting circuit 3 of which one end is terminated by an output side termination circuit 4 and the other end is considered as an output terminal of the signal and a basic amplifier circuit 6 constituted by including an initial stage amplification part 6a and a next stage amplification part 6b, which amplifies a part of the signal inputted from the input side transmitting circuit 1 to the initial stage amplification part 6a by the initial stage amplification part 6a, outputs it to the output side transmitting circuit 3, receives the signal which is the other part of the signal inputted from the input side transmitting circuit 1 to the initial stage amplification part 6a, receives, amplifies the signal outputted by low impedance from the initial amplification part 6a by the next stage amplification part 6a, outputs it to the output side transmitting circuit 3 and distributively connected between the input side transmitting circuit 1 and the output side transmitting circuit 3.
