PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of reducing operation noise to the lowest possible amount. SOLUTION: The display device is structured such that the air intake surface 31M of a sirocco fan faces opposite to an air intake window 12W made in the lower face of a housing 10 (lower case 12). In the display device, the air intake surface 31M is located far apart from the air intake window 12W, in comparison with the case the air intake surface of the sirocco fan faces the air intake window. A sufficient distance is, therefore, obtained between the air intake surface 31M and the air intake window 12. Accordingly, even if hissing sound is produced in the vicinity of the air intake surface 31M caused by a rapid flow of outside air G or a turbulent flow phenomenon, the hissing sound attenuates before reaching the air intake window 12W from the air intake surface 31M. Thereby the hissing sound is hindered from leaking from the air intake window 12W. In addition, the air intake window 12W is not located in the vicinity of the air intake surface 31M. This hinders hissing sound from being produced due to the presence of the air intake window 12W, and sufficiently restricts the amount of hissing sound.
