PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding member which is excellent in heat resistance stability and strength over a prolonged period of time, ensures stability of traveling of a beltlike rotor and can suppress generation of electric charges between it and the beltlike rotor, and to provide a fixing device with the sliding member. SOLUTION: In the fixing device 1 comprising a fixing roll 11, a resin film tubular body 12 which rotates with the fixing roll 11, the sheetlike sliding member 13 which comes in contact with an inner face of the resin film tubular body 12 and on which the resin film tubular body 12 slides, and a pressing member 14 which presses the resin film tubular body 12 against the sheetlike sliding member 13, the sheetlike sliding member 13 consists of a heat resistant fluorocarbon resin containing carbon nanotubes.
