PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pallet clamping device, operating a light-weighted clamp member provided on a table on a pallet positioned above the table, positioning the pallet on the reference surface of the table and fixing the pallet. SOLUTION: The table side is provided with a positioning piston inserted in a first hydraulic cylinder formed with a reference tapered surface formed on the upper part and protrusively arranged on the table to move up and down; a collet included in the upper part of a center hole of the piston; a piston rod passed through the center hole of the piston with the head engaged with the base of the collet, and having a piston inserted in a second hydraulic cylinder formed at the lower part of the center hole of the piston, and an oil pressure source and a passage for supplying a pressure fluid to the first and second hydraulic cylinders. The pallet side is provided with a plurality of sets of clamp members each composed of a pedestal having a tapered receiving surface corresponding to the reference tapered surface and a pull stud held on the collet, thereby abutting and fixing the pallet to the table.
