PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trimming device and a trimming method, trimming a molded article with good accuracy even in the case that the shift of a molding position is caused in molding by a molding device, that is, even in the case that a difference is generated in a shot interval. SOLUTION: In molding, at the time of carrying in and positioning a resin sheet S to the molding device 30 on the basis of a mark (m), on the basis of a variation (shifting amount) to a trimming reference position B2 of the trimming position 40 caused by the variation of a stop position due to the printing variation of the mark (m), upper and lower blade dies 41, 42 are suitably moved in the longitudinal direction of the resin sheet S by a body moving device 44.
