PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewage disinfectant pouring amount controlling apparatus capable of correct control of pouring amount of a sewage disinfectant without using a coliform bacillus sensor. SOLUTION: A UV absorption meter 14 measures a UV value (ultraviolet absorbance) which is one of sewage state quantities, a microorganism number predicting calculation means 16 predicts and calculates the number of the coliform bacilli which are harmful microorganisms, based on the UV value and corresponding characteristic data determined in advance and stored in a corresponding characteristic storing means 15 in a database form, and a control means 11 for sewage disinfectant pouring amount controls the pouring amount of the sewage disinfectant based on the predicted and calculated number of the coliform bacilli.
