PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for providing commodities which is suitable for displaying commodities at a showcase, in particular a refrigerating showcase, for displaying various commodities in a limited space, a commodity package provided using the container for providing commodities, and a commodity display method. SOLUTION: The container 1 for providing commodities includes a belt shaped body 2 installed at a support portion of the showcase having display shelves, the belt shaped body 2 is provided with a housing bodies 3, the housing body 3 has a surface portion 3a, an opening portion 3b, and a bottom portion 3c, the front surface portion 3a has the length of an opening side larger than that of a bottom side and the area of the opening portion 3b larger than that of the bottom portion 3c. The commodity display method involves installing the belt shaped body 2 at the support portion of the showcase having the display shelves and providing the commodity package bodies 4 housed with commodities at the belt shaped body 2 to display the commodities.
