PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker capable of making glutinous water generated during boiling flow back into a pot without boiling over and cooking rice with strong heating power. SOLUTION: The rice cooker comprises a rice cooker main body 1, a freely openable and closable lid body 3 covering the upper surface opening part of the main body 1, a steam cylinder 5 provided inside a steam port 4 passing through the lid body 3 and a glutinous water accumulation part 7 inside the steam cylinder 5, and a reflux hole 8 is provided below the glutinous water accumulation part. A reflux valve 9 constituted in the form of covering the reflux hole 8 is provided on the outer side of the reflux hole 8 and a glutinous water weakening means 11 is provided on the outer periphery of the reflux valve 9. Thus, the bubbles of the glutinous water generated by boiling while cooking the rice do not easily flow into a gap for the reflux of the glutinous water provided between a ventilation hole and the reflux valve, and delicious rice is cooked with the strong heating power with high boiling-over resistance.
