PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant growing apparatus provided with a light radiation means functioning not as a point light source but as a plane light source to enable the exposure of almost whole area of the target plants with light and installable in a narrow space to save the installation space. SOLUTION: The plant growing apparatus 1 grows a plant 4 by light irradiation. The apparatus is furnished with an organic EL panel 2 composed of an organic EL device as a light radiation means.
