<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly and inexpensively detect orientation even if a bulging portion P3 is formed at a middle part of a part P. <P>SOLUTION: An inspection path PH3 inspecting a position of the part P is provided. In the inspection path PH3, the part P is carried in a direction orthogonal to an axis Lo thereof. In the inspection path PH3, a means (guide portions 31a, 32a, and guide groove 31b, 32b) for simultaneously guiding both end porions of the part P is provided. Both ends of the part P are guided to keep the posture, thereby preventing being influenced by a large diameter portion P3 provided at the middle part of the part P. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI.
