<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a dye-sensitized solar cell capable of efficiently manufacturing a light-weight dye-sensitized solar cell at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: Metal oxide fine particles and metal alkoxide for bonding the metal oxide fine particles are kneaded to form a paste. The paste is applied on a conductive substrate to hydrolyze the metal alkoxide, so that a porous film of the metal oxide fine particles is formed on the surface of the conductive substrate.
