<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cubic boron nitride sintered compact material which combines high thermal conductivity and wear resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The highly thermal conductive wear resistant material consists of a polycrystalline substance comprising cubic boron nitride and a bonding phase as a second phase with inevitable impurities.
