摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting the quantity of light in which emission level of each LED element is corrected appropriately regardless of a variation in wavelength distribution among LED elements in an LED print head or the type of a photosensitive body. <P>SOLUTION: An LED array control section 34 performing drive control of an LED print head 7 comprises a quantity of light correction data storage section 35, an image signal processing section 42, a control signal generating section 43, and an image data correcting section 44. The quantity of light correction data storage section 35 stores quantity of light correction data being calculated from the optical intensity data of individual LED elements constituting an LED array 31 and spectral sensitivity data predetermined by the type of a photosensitive body. The image data correcting section 44 corrects image data outputted from an image signal processing section 42 using the quantity of light correction data read out from the quantity of light correction data storage section 35 and outputs the corrected image data to the LED print head 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
