EXHAUST EMISSION CONTROL DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize a temperature distribution and accumulation amount of a PM in a whole filter without sacrificing the capacity of the filter, in an exhaust emission control device with the filter collecting PM contained in exhaust of an engine.

SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control device comprises: a temperature retaining passage 13 formed as a gap surrounding an outer periphery of the filter 10; an inlet part 16 connecting the upstream side of an engine exhaust passage to a front end side where the temperature retaining passage is sealed; a front passage 17 formed as a space covering a whole surface of the front end of the filter and a rear end where the temperature retaining passage is opened; a rear passage 18 formed as a space covering the whole surface of the rear end of the filter; and an outlet part 19 connecting the downstream of the engine exhaust passage to the rear passage.
