PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fully enhance performance of an entire system even during a peak shift period.

SOLUTION: The invention includes a system body equipped with a function to drive with reduced system performance; an AC adapter 51 which is constituted connectable to the system body and supplies power to the system body from a commercial power supply; and a battery 52 which is constituted connectable to the system body, discharges after charge, and supplies the system body with power. In a state that both the AC adapter 51 and the battery 52 are connected to the system body, during a period for restricting power supply from the AC adapter 51, the system is driven without deteriorating the performance of the system even in the state that power supply from the AC adapter 51 is turned off and the power is being supplied from the battery 52. Then, even during this period, the power supply from the AC adapter 51 is turned on and the power is supplied to the system body by the AC adapter 51.
