摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for such a biodegradable polymer gel having no influence on the environment as the gel for adsorbing/removing an injurious metal multivalent ion without using a harmful crosslinker, and to provide a removing method for a metal in a waste liquid using the biodegradable polymer gel obtained by this manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method comprises crosslinking/gelating a carboxymethyl cellulose sodium salt (CMCNa) aqueous solution having a concentration of 10% or more by means of irradiating aγ-ray with more than 20 kGy; and the adsorbing/removing method for the metal in the waste liquid comprises dipping the biodegradable polymer gel obtained by the above process in the waste liquid containing the metal ion.
