PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking position confirming system for confirming the parking position of a vehicle, even when the vehicle is parking at a place where radio waves from a portable unit cannot reach. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle system 1 transmits vehicle position information, including the position of a vehicle from a transmitting/receiving circuit 21 on the basis of a signal indicating that the parking position of the vehicle has been decided, such as a signal indicating that an ignition key has been turned on/off. A portable unit 10 receives the vehicle position information from the on-vehicle system 1 by using a transmitter/receiving circuit 14, stores the received vehicle position information in a memory 11, and reports the position of the vehicle, on the basis of the vehicle position information stored in the memory 11.
