PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make improvements concerning mistakes in assigning an address indicating a data delivery address and the vexatious complication of management of the address, in a data communication system. SOLUTION: In a data receiving device 5, attribute information on a device is previously stored in an attribute information storage function part 504. In a data transmitting device 3 on receiving address assignment from a user through an address input 302, an attribute correspondence function part 328 first acquires attribute information on the device through a communication function part 326 and from the data receiving device 5 side corresponding to the assigned address. Then, the attribute correspondence function part 328 passes delivery address information in which the acquired attribute information is associated with the address to an output processor 340. The output processor 340, based on the delivery address information, notifies the user of the address and the attribute information corresponding to the address by an image or voice.
