PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a small-sized film transport mechanism at a low cost without requiring intricate control. SOLUTION: In the case a film 80 is unwound from a spool shaft 70b wound around with the film 80, the torque of a driving shaft 20 is transmitted to the spool shaft 70b in such a manner that the delivery speed of the film 80 based on the torque of the spool shaft 70b is made slower than the transport speed of the film 80 in a transport roller section 30. At this time, the spool shaft 70b is run idle relative to the driving shaft 20 by the function of a one-way clutch included in a torque transmission section 60. On the other hand, in the case the film 80 is rewound to the spool shaft 70b, the torque of the driving shaft 20 is transmitted to the spool shaft 70b in such a manner that the rewinding speed of the film 80 based on the torque of the spool shaft 70b is made faster than the transport speed of the film 80 in the transport roller section 30.
