<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a connection job connecting a plurality of print jobs; and to perform a smooth printing processing for the connection job produced. <P>SOLUTION: When a client PC performs a job connection, the client PC displays a dialog (user interface) for job connection, and performs the edit and print setting of the registration or the like of a print job using the dialog. When the client PC completes the edit, the client PC confirms the print setting of the connection job (steps 100 to 106). When an inappropriate print setting exists, an alert is displayed, and the re-edition of the connection job is urged (steps 110, 112).
