<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system having an ion exchange filter hardly causing clogging. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is equipped with a fuel cell stack 1; a fuel gas supply passage 2 supplying fuel gas to the fuel cell stack; an oxidizing agent gas supply passage 3 supplying oxidizing agent gas to the fuel cell stack; a humidifier 5 humidifying the fuel gas and the oxidizing agent gas; a humidifying water supply passage 6 supplying pure water to the humidifier, and an ion exchange filter 14 removing ions in the pure water is installed in the humidifying water supply passage. The ion exchange filter 14 is equipped with a box-shaped filter body 14a; a granular ion exchange resin 14g removing ions in the pure water; and two kinds of collecting means 14e, 14f having different mesh sizes installed on the inside of the filter body, the first collecting means 14e having a fine mesh is positioned in an outlet part of the filter body, the second collecting means 14f having a coarse mesh is fixed to an upstream side in the pure water flow direction than the first collecting means, the ion exchange resin is positioned with the second collecting means, and broken pieces of the ion exchange resin are collected with the first collecting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
