<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic watch with superior waterproof and novel design that indicates the exact time without using an external input system such as a winding crown. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic watch 10 comprises a clock 15 including: a radio information receiving unit 100; a time measurement controlling unit 210; a receipt controlling circuit 201 controlling the radio information receiving unit 100; a time correction controlling unit 220 comparing the time data of the time measurement controlling unit 210 with the time data received by the radio information receiving unit 100 to output time measurement controlling unit 210 time correction data based on the comparison data; a synchronization controlling circuit 230 synchronizing a time displaying unit 18 displaying the time based on the output of the time measurement controlling unit 210 with the time data of the time measurement controlling unit 210; a generating device 50; a storage device 70; and an acceleration sensor unit 87 outputting the receipt controlling circuit 201 a detection signal when a change of a state more than a predetermined change is detected.
