<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a performance estimation device measuring performance of remote calling executed between respective servers in a distributed application operating on a distributed computer system having the plurality of servers. <P>SOLUTION: This performance estimation device measuring the performance of the remote calling executed between the respective servers has: an IDL compiler 202 inputted with an interface definition to generate a client stub mounting code wherein an interface between a client application and an ORB is described and a skeleton mounting code wherein an interface between a server application and the ORB, and a server load generation process are described; and a means starting the server application generated from a server mounting code, a servant mounting code and the skeleton mounting code, inputting a load information setting file wherein setting information related to the server load generation process is described, and executing the server load generation process according to contents of the load information setting file. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
