<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric bulb capable of simulating lambently moving random brightness with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: This electric bulb comprises: a bulb with a filament installed in its inside; a case having one end disposed on the side of an end of the bulb; a light modulation unit installed in the case and electrically connected to the filament to change a current value of a current flowing through the filament; and a base of an external electrode disposed at the other end of the case and electrically connected to the light modulation unit.
