PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of a difference in density of an image caused by a difference in a latent time. SOLUTION: A difference between the latent times of an image formed in a region at the top part of a printing paper and an image formed in a region near the top part of the printing paper is introduced based on a distance from the top part of the printing paper. Then, a difference between color developing densities of the images formed in the two regions is introduced based on a difference of the latent times to introduce a corrected value of the color developing density between the images formed in the two regions. Then, exposures in respective regions on the printing paper are adjusted by the corrected values of the color developing density from the exposures based on pixel levels of pixels corresponding to respective regions included in the image data.
