STARTER OF NAILING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the reaction of a nailing machine during a continuous nailing mode and prevent occurrence of dribbling during a single nailing mode and erroneous operation at the time of connecting an air chuck. SOLUTION: The starting device for the nailing machine is provided with a switching operation member 40 for performing switching between the single nailing mode and the continuous nailing mode and a rotation regulating means for controlling rotation of a contact lever 34 which operates a valve stem 19 of a starting valve 15 while co-operating with the switching operating member 40 with the single nailing mode set. The rotation amount of the contact lever 34 is controlled by the rotation prevention means at a position where a trigger lever 31 being pulled during the single nailing mode, thus the valve stem 19 is made to keep the starting valve 15 in an ON condition.
