PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame member for a partition with a hanging function, and a partition device using the frame member easily mounted to the partition and prevented from falling from the partition even if an article to be hung or latched is very heavy. SOLUTION: The frame member 10 for the partition with the hanging function is composed of a long-sized connection part 12 disposed on the upper face of the partition A; a partition front face abutting part 14 extended downward from one edge in the cross direction of the connection part 12 and disposed at the front face of the partition A; and a partition back face abutting part 16 extended downward from the other edge in the cross direction of the connection part 12 and disposed at the back face of the partition A. Mounting is completed only by fitting the upper edge of the partition A into a fitting recess C surrounded by the connection part 12, the partition front face abutting part 14 and the partition back face abutting part 16.
